A Week Inside Pragma (With The Co-Founder Himself)
Christopher Wegener gives us a behind-the-scenes look at what it's like actually building a watch brand in the 21st century.
As you’ve no doubt noticed, there’s been an explosion of independent watch brands in recent years. We talk about it all the time.
While Stephen and I are fortunate enough to speak with founders regularly, it’s rare to see what actually goes into building one of these companies day to day, week to week. From product development and growing a team to marketing and events, we wanted to take you behind the scenes of a young brand we genuinely believe has a bright future.
Here’s a week in the working life of Pragma co-founder Christopher Wegner.

This gave us a chance to slow things down and walk through the watch properly. We spoke about the stone dial, the construction of the piece and the work that goes into the handmade hands, from shaping and finishing to the final adjustments before assembly.
